ABOUT US
We take fun seriously here.
Big room, no dress code. We'll put a touring comedian on the stage one weekend and a cornhole tournament on the floor the next. Murder mystery dinners, drag bingo, burlesque, Friday karaoke — if it's a good time, it's fair game.
"Club" is just the name. Nobody checks a card at the door. Come in, have a drink, and see what the night turns into.
How It Started
A 1906 Masonic Temple, brought back to life.
The 122 Club lives in a 1906 Masonic Temple at 122 N. Park Street in downtown Streator. When Bill Phelan bought the building in 2013, it had sat empty for the better part of a decade and was in rough shape — but the bones were all there: the brick, the woodwork, the doors and windows. Restoration began, and by 2014 the ballroom was hosting weddings as The Silver Fox, which it still does today.
The 122 Club started in 2021 as an addition to The Silver Fox — the company that handled the bar. It quickly took on a life of its own. Touring comedians, live music, murder mystery dinners, drag bingo, themed dinners and Friday night karaoke turned a bar into Streator's spot for a night out.
What we're proudest of isn't the building. It's bringing unique, high-quality entertainment to the area and keeping the vibes great every single night.
